Amruth P is an accomplished researcher and professor with a doctorate from ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin, under Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT). He holds an MSc in Marine Biology and Oceanography from Pondicherry University, Port Blair. He has cleared CSIR-NET with JRF and GATE in Life Sciences. His expertise includes the extraction and characterization of marine bioactive compounds and creating advanced biomaterials for wound healing and tissue engineering. He is also proficient in deep-sea fisheries biochemical profiling and marine toxin isolation for forensic studies. Amruth P has received accolades like the Young Scientist Award, Research Excellence Award, and Best Paper Award. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for prominent journals. He is a member of leading scientific organizations and leads several seed-funded projects as PI and Co-PI. With numerous publications in reputed journals, he has significantly contributed to his field. Since 2024, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.
