I am a student of MSc Data Science first year. I have had an amazing time in CHRIST, Lavasa. The people here are very welcoming and motivating. The institution provides a lot of resources through which you can upgrade yourself. With regular workshops, we stay informed about the current developments in our field of study. Data Science is an emerging field and with so many resources available online, it becomes confusing to understand which area to focus on to what extent. Our teachers help us with that and help us in learning something new. They are really supportive.We have so many different extra-curricular activities going on continuously and one will find it enriching to participate and explore themselves in those events. The non-teaching staff here is very cooperative. This place has taught me to be more disciplined and focused

I’ve been a Christite for 4 years now, it’s been a year in Lavasa, and I’m currently pursuing my masters in Data Science. Let’s just say I was very sceptical of being here, first few months took time adjusting. But as time went by I felt the sense of rush, I met like-minded people who challenged me and helped me grow. Faculties present on the campus were always there for me. Lavasa grows on you, it’s a very peaceful place to put your ideas into action there are a lot of projects and research work that always keeps you on your toes with all the learning happening there’s also a lot of fun, fests and conferences are regularly organized. It’s a whole different world out here, a college experience which is defiantly one of a kind. Christ promises you a lot of things but one thing they say that they are absolutely right about, Once a christite, always a christite.

I am a first year BSc Data Science student. CHRIST(Deemed to University),Lavasa is situated on the lush green and calm Western Ghats of Maharashtra which gives a perfect atmosphere for research and learning. The institution is deeply rooted in discipline and emphasise on not only the material aspects but also teaches to contribute to society. The Centre for Social Action(CSA) is one such platform where I got the opportunity to teach the underprivileged and do my bit for society. Through the past year, I’ve learnt that the main purpose of education is to serve, critically think and to take appropriate actions to grow in all the spheres of life.

I am a first year student pursuing BSc in Data Science. The course is new and challenging but the teachers of CHRIST are very approachable which makes the task easy and convenient. The college offers certificate courses, workshops, conferences, training and other relevant online sources that has enhanced my skills and sharpened my knowledge in this field. Teachers use new innovative techniques to deliver their lectures and focuses on each and every student as much as possible. The assignments planned by the department are of great use that helps in exploring and effectively practising the methods that were taught in the class.

I am a student of BSc in Data Science. It’s a pleasure to be called as a Christite. CHRIST, Lavasa supports and nurtures its students with its attributes for the overall wellbeing of its students. As a college, it not only focuses on the academics but the varied events that happen throughout the year keep the students motivated and active. From cultural fests to sports, from the rhythm of the music to the insightful conferences. CHRIST, Lavasa is a package of emotions, thrill, knowledge and learning in right proportions that has helped me form memories to cherish lifelong. I am proud to be a Christite. 

I got placed in Yes Bank as Deputy Manager - Advanced Analytics.  The placement process at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus is extremely systematic and organized. Not only does it entail connecting students with major organizations across India but also constant guidance and support to prepare and polish before the process ensures sure shot selection.

Research-oriented curriculum by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune, Lavasa Campus enabled me to dive deeper into the Data Science domain and consistent efforts by the faculty and serenity of Lavasa kept me in focus throughout the period of my course.  The Placement Coordinator's Office brought in multiple opportunities for us at a critical time for the job market which consequently helped me getting myself placed in a prestigious company as Management Trainee (Data Sciences) in Bajaj Allianz. I am very grateful to everyone at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune, Lavasa who helped me achieve my first placement.

The Placement Process at Christ (Deemed to be University) Lavasa is very efficient and properly structured. The Placement Coordinator's Office processes the campus hirings efficiently and brings various companies for Final Placements. As a BSc Economics and Analytics student at Christ (Deemed to be University), my academic journey has been transformative in ways I never anticipated. Christ University’s rigorous curriculum, supportive faculty mentorship, and enriching events foster both intellectual and personal growth. Opportunities like guest lectures and research have expanded my professional network and practical knowledge. The serene campus environment balances academics and extracurriculars perfectly. I am grateful for how Christ has shaped me into a confident analyst ready to contribute meaningfully to the industry.
 

Being a part of the Department of Data Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa, has been an incredible learning experience. are not only supportive and knowledgeable but also motivate us to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems.Through hands-on projects, workshops, and valuable industry exposure, the department equips us with practical skills and a deep understanding of data science. This comprehensive learning environment has truly prepared me for a successful future in the fast-evolving fields of technology and data analytics.

Three years ago, I found myself on a monsoon-drenched hill road, headed toward Christ (Deemed to be) University, Pune Lavasa Campus—on nothing more than a friend’s suggestion. I had no background in coding, no clear plan—just curiosity and the hope that maybe, just maybe, this place could shape my future. The early days were quiet and unfamiliar. Coming out of the pandemic, the return to rigorous academics—especially the continuous CIAs—felt overwhelming. But here’s the truth: learning never felt like a burden. The curriculum was built from the ground up, making it welcoming for someone like me. More than that, it was the faculty—their accessibility, mentorship, and genuine care—that created a space where I could not just learn, but grow.
This university gave me more than an education. It gave me the stage to lead, the freedom to explore, and the courage to fail and try again. Whether representing my department, founding initiatives, or being part of student-led efforts that quietly made a difference—it all shaped who I am today. It’s been the moments shared with friends, the late-night study sessions, the teamwork, and the laughter that truly defined this experience. The memories we created here will stay with me, reminding me of the journey we’ve all taken together. This university gave me more than knowledge—it gave me the chance to grow, to explore, and to connect with people who’ve become a part of my story.
As I move forward, those memories, the lessons, and the friendships will always guide me. The future is ahead, but I’ll always carry with me the spirit of what we’ve built together here.
