About the Programme

The Department of Psychology offers two year full-time M.Sc Course in Counselling Psychology. Master’s course in Counselling Psychology is an advanced course aimed at competence building among the students from a holistic and an interdisciplinary perspective.

Individual and Group Counselling Trainings

Training in counselling techniques, therapeutic skills, case conceptualization, and group facilitation through experiential learning and supervised practice.

Psychodiagnostics Assessments

Exposure to psychological testing, interpretation, and report writing using standardized assessment tools in clinical and counselling settings.

Quantitative and Qualitative Research Tools

Training in research methodologies, statistical analysis, qualitative inquiry, and the use of contemporary research tools and software.

Supervised Practicum

Hands-on field training under professional supervision to develop practical counselling and mental health intervention skills.
